The Italians deserved it & were the better team although it gives me no pleasure in my admittance.
We have to learn to keep hold of the ball, until then we will never win anything at international level

It is going to take us years and years to get to the level of the top sides in Europe.....The game we brought to the finals is only ahead of the Irish out of the 16 teams there.

rooney was gash, young awful, milner joke - hodgson didnt play the right team
walcott and carroll should have played from the start and set up to attack - then bring on rooney or defoe - rooney looked knackered and no way could play 90 mins let alone 120 - surely anyone could see that
we needed fresh legs and young hearts to win that game
gutted!
