I was wondering when an eagle eye was going to spot that
I've actually been quite busy on the car to get it where it is now, underneath is all de greased and cleaned down, that's why you can see all the alloy suspension parts as they were covered in underseal, also underseal overspray everywhere. Also invested in the dent man and had to have some fresh paint on the rear bumper. I'm very happy now I feel those bits have finished it off a treat and of course thanks to earlier owners for mud flaps as there are no stone chip damage at all, generally not a fan but I'm used to them now plus I see first hand what a good job they have done. The guy who owned it before looked after it and I've got a full folder of paperwork.

I missed out on a good one there.

Enjoy it mate.

Yes Si, gone old skool again, picked up a nice clean 1992 Smokestone Blue Sapph Cosworth running a nice stage 3 upgrade back last July, enjoying the smell of unburnt fuel and oil again . Starting to get itchy feet again though, trolling the different forums of late just seeing whats out there.

Kev still running that old Grey 3dr Banger?

Just a little different Si, had to get used to the legendary Cosworth turbo lag again off the T34 and it doesn't do roundabouts and sharp bends quite like the Evo, got to have your witts about you when the backend gives way lol, could do with some Active Yaw wizardry.
Tell Kev it's about time he sold up the old smoker and bought something tidy...

Very pleased with how it's come together indeed, couple more little jobs and I'll be a few steps closer again. Hope to get a few more pics soon showing the progress.

Thanks Daz I'll give you pointers anytime bud it does not take the time that you may think you need to invest the time in the beginning and after that it's quite easy really.

Yes very happy James it's quite a big transformation from what it was, normally it's only the darker colours I would say give you the instant wow factor but I have to admit you managed it on silver for sure, top marks matey
Getting the suspension set up correctly has visually made a massive impact as well James the front end sits down now where it needs to be.

Thanks Sir it's come together nicely over the last few months, there's no need for me to get to carried away like on the classic as its all mint anyway but there is a little more shall I call it deep cleaning I want to do but no polishing this time around, I don't mind it and as Lee is probably finding if you get in a good routine it's quite easy to maintain..... Saying that I'm thinking of giving the diff some buffty as its a good talking point

Thanks Cookstar hopefully give you some ideas on your new car there

Looks very similar to mine - difference being I have the previous Alpine model and a carbon fascia on my PSI3. I've just ordered an electric spray gun so I can respray my dash in black rubberized paint

I was lucky enough to find the head unit second hand plus it has hands free which is where we need to be these days I feel, rubbery paint sounds rubbery I just trialled a bit of garden furniture with my so called sheen black I picked up and it's glossier than a glossy gloss finish so back to the drawing board here for the minute

Be interesting to see how you get on with the rubber paint there Jon..

I've already considered that as I seen a picture of Ty's parts.... When is Mervy with you ? If you got Tyrons car still with you somewhere there may be a dash panel already that's heading my way as Ty can't use it on his, it's the radio surround, I'm assuming he still cant use the surround as his controls are slightly different.
