Yes you will be right there alright!

I wonder why diesel is more expensive than petrol though.

Well the diesel I have just bought does 53 mpg with a great deal of town driving and the performance is pretty impressive.

It is smooth and noiseless and my last car did just on 30mpg with the same size engine and the performance was poor in comparison.

I reckon I am well and truly on the plus side with this one.

My Honda Civic 2.2 TurboDiesel does eveything the old Impreza did back in the day - it makes me smile .... it looks great, it pulls like a steam train, it returns 55mpg AND costs a mere £115 a year to tax ...... oh, yeah, nearly forgot - £165 a year Insurance
Think the looks great is questionable, eye of the beholder I suppose

woop de doo - i'd rather have a big grin on my face when I get out the car from the soundtrack and feel of such an awesome car than an extra £5 in my wallet which might have been saved from driving automotive bilge!

It would also mean that all the foreigner visiter coming over in their cars would have to contribute as well. As it stand they dont have to pay anything yet when we go to France we still have to pay the extortionate road tolls.
