Just going on the statement of "power".
Power is power regardless of what its in.

In reality a 350bhp classic is more than anyone NEEDS on the road. Likewise i think a well sorted spec C at around 360/360 is absolutely perfect.

Ive 180bhp in my Clio 182 and in reality its all the power i could ever need, its a blisteringly quick b road car in the right hands because the chassis and setup is so exploitable.

The Clio is circs 180bhp, my impreza is 573bhp...
which one to i have the most fun in?

I've just got rid of the mrs' 172 and I hated it. It's put me off buying anything French for along time. Is your 182 modded to make it drivable? Cause the one we had was not impressive.
Cheers.
Ps. Soz for off topic.
John.

No John, standard car except brake pads and braided lines.

Honestly, probably the most favourite car I've owned.

Because I Like acceleration and I wanted to have more than that which I'd become accustomed to in my 350 bhp classic.... which I modified from standard because I wanted more acceleration than that which I'd become accustomed to in the standard spec classic.

I used to think of my forged 2.5 as a big power build (470/480), but now I'd probably regard around the 600 mark a big power build

Power is addictive, but for the sake of your wallet (if nothing else), you do need to know where to stop.

I agree big time, I love my 172 runabout, gearbox is dead and I'm going to have to relace the car as it's not worth fixing and tempted to buy another
