Working in IT i find the stereotypical portrayal of me as an over-paid "geek" deeply offensive. There have mnay posts in the last 3 years which have used the term "geek" in an offensive manner. Please find them all and delete them.

I suspect that even if SdB wanted to leave this thread open, all it may take is one carefully worded letter and Scoobynet could be in all sorts of strife.

We all have strong opinions on this subject (me included) but try and understand Scoobynets position on this. I am not taking sides, I am trying to look objectively at this one. Whilst it could be seen as "PC gone mad", maybe thats because whoever was offended by the other thread has made a call to one of the "where theres blame theres a claim" companies that we all know and love.

Agree with DJ Dunk, i think all sides of the argument have been aired. Lets put this one to bed.
