Sainsburys don't do 99 or 100ron fuel. The highest you can get in the uk is Tesco momentum @ 99ron or shell V-power @99ron. You can get BP 102 ron at some stations normally near race tracks but at about £2.50 per liter.

She's full of **** mate. Sainsburys do 95 and 97 ron and its crap. If i put Sainsburys petrol in my misses car it does 7mpg less than on other petrols. Up to you mate ,it's your engine.

Sainsburys best fuel is only 97 RON.

Personally, wouldn't be using it in my car.

Nor me mate.

Tonka2, if getting Tesco 99 or v-power is a problem just get your car mapped to run on SUL 97ron. I still still wouldn't use supermarket fuel though with the exception of momentum.

I'm just not a fan of supermarket fuel full stop.
Car is mapped on V-Power and my mapper advised me to only ever use it. I'm lucky though as have a shell within 10 miles of my house.

Mine was mapped on v-power but my mapper told me using momentum was fine. I normally use shell as it's closer to me.

My STi was mapped using V-Power but I regularly use Momentum and find it every bit as good as the Shell. No more activity on the KS3 than on V-Power.

Gents, have a look around other posts, there are at least three threads running at the moment on this subject, eg "Fuel octane requirement"
