While the whole grammar/spelling thing may seem like a cheap shot I was merely drawing attention to it as an indicator of the sort of person who thinks it's acceptable to say (and presumably do) this:
I have friends and family and don't want them getting mown down by the sort of idiot that thinks it's OK to have a 'wee chase aorund town'.
There are open roads where you can push on a bit and tracks where you can have a 'wee chase' with another vehicle. It's not rocket science!!!
Hope that clarifies things

Sorry yabba, this forum is for people who never drive faster than the speed limit, give chase or race, people on this forum have never done any such thing and never would, we all bought imprezas purely to drive fast on track days, you have to be absolutely perfectly law abiding and willing to wack any other member off for approval on here lol

the incident in question happened on a roundabout leading onto a duel carriageway which was empty at the time. also it was just acceleration onto the beginning of the carriageway and he was behind me to begin with so he was actually the one who blasted away past me. is there a law which governs the speed you accelerate up to the legal speed limit?

I got me *** handed to me a while back by a blob eye on the motorway so i feel your pain lol
Two choices really. Concede the fact there will always be someone faster or open your wallet ans start spending.

I never understood this argument (not least because of the half-arsed way it's been delivered!). No, it's not an English exam,. It is an English forum where the English language is used to communicate, ergo adequate use of English is a fairly fundamental expectation.

I wouldnt bother chucking money at the engine just because you got beat, there will always be someone faster.
Grow a set of ***** and learn to drive fast round a corner, im not getting into this petty debate about driving fast on public roads but what i will say is my mate has a ford sport Ka and sierra cossie and is a superb driver, i mean superb, in the KA on a tight twisty (track) ive been in it with him up **** of many an evo or scooby simply because they cant drive.
Please tell me you have good brakes, suspension and tyres?

Brakes have been upgraded yes.And i think my grasp of the language is just fine thanks and it only seems to be a certain group of members who seem to use this pathetic excuse to try and ridicule people. Also i think iv,e been quite articulate in putting my point across.

So are you going to start chasing power figures or have you calmed down now? As i said,i feel your pain. I'm running 360 and had my wheels blown off by some nipper in a rot box i was livid for days

I was always calm bud! I only ever wanted some advice regarding a faster spooling turbo and it turned into the idiotic shambles you see before you. I am happy with the driveability of the car over all and the midrange is fantastic, its just slow coming on boost, around 4000rpm before it starts to pull strongly.
