I am a placid laid back individual, I neither have the build nor the aggression to threaten anyone. However, drop half a dozen shots of vodka, I become argumentative, keep drinking beyond this point I will offer to fight with anyone I don't like the look of. In the past this has included door staff, police officers and one occasion a minister of religion. I have no idea why it does this, but I refuse to touch the stuff.
I have snorted neat vodka from an upturned pint glass and off a spoon - I don't recommend it, it was quite an experience.

If you like quality vodka , but don't like the price , get you self a charcoal water purifier.
Get your cheap old vodka and pass through the filter a couple of times and you won't tell the difference from Absolute or Grey Goose.
Only drink ice from the freezer cold as a shooter.

My usual tipple is Irish whiskey (none of that scotch pish) or red wine. I have been known to hang a few on, and I am typically a jovial drunk.
Vodka was the common denominator on those occasions, maybe being agitated or mildly angry at something led me to drink vodka which then magnified my agitation or anger, or perhaps it was the other way about, but for my own safety I choose to stay well clear. Never have the same outcome with whiskey or wine.

I quite like Smernoff Blue label, it used to be 50%, and triple filtered, think they have dropped it down to 45% not tried it in a while. I have a bottle of Russian Standard gold label for a special occasion sat in a box in the kitchen.
Vodka is best served out of the freezer, as said it makes it a bit gloopy with a slight glitter to it.
