Good news.......if you can trust any weather forecast........Sunday looks dry but cloudy with highs of about 13c.

Rain pushing in later (evening) but who cares, we'll all be burning super unleaded on the way home by then....

what time does it all kick off please? I have no idea when I need to get there.....ta

 

Timings are in the first post...........but basically official gates-open time is 11am on Sunday. Event will run til 3pm.

Please aim to arrive about 11 - we want to avoid queueing as far as possible so if people did not all arrive together bang on 11 it would help!

Worse case scenario - that is NOT going to happen

If it all goes to pot, and when you arrive the queue is back to the roundabout on the main road, then PLEASE PLEASE don't join it! Go for a 10 min run round the sights of Banbury and come back again.

The Police have promised to start taking an interest in our cars if the queue backs up that far - cats, tyres, numberplates, tax, insurance, etc.

Posted this elsewhere.....but incase anyone's not sure about the event, here's an overview -


The idea of the day was simply a gathering of 300 of the best imprezas and their enthusiast owners, at the place that transformed the humble Impreza from a farmer's favourite to a rally icon....to celebrate 20 years since launch in 1992.

The Timeline display will be there to show the physical evolution of the model.

There will be original brochures for virtually every model on display.

The Prodrive Heritage Centre will be open allow up close access to many classic Prodrive vehicles including N1WRC.

We will be having a raffle - more details to follow.

Mission Motorsport will be present with their race car.

Hope that gives you an idea.....

Dean, i had my ticket off of MSHowells on this forum (No.279) what additional information do i need if i cant get a copy of the original paypal receipt sent for payment?

Will a drivers licence do?

 

Out of curiosity is there going to be any folk from and magazine companies down for the day ie total impreza, jap performance etc

 

Martin PM'd us details of your car reg when he notified us he would be coming in your car instead of his own....Paypal is there as a fall back if there is some doubt/dispute.

What a great day! A cracking selection of Scoobs on show

 

had a fun time today , thanks to the organisers and staff who made it a great day out loads of nice cars to , put names to a few faces aswell

 

Left this morning at 8am .. got 25 miles in and could hear a noise .. pulled over and my rear arches had taken a few layers of rubber off my tyres due to the 4 people I had in the car .. and to make things better I had two nails one in each of my front tyres ..

Gutted .. truly gutted, all four of us arranged today and had been looking forward to it, I spent literally all day yesterday cleaning my car.

 

Had a good day. Nice to put a few faces to names as well
