Exactly, and I'm not really sure why his ethnicity was even mentioned. I do understand the point of view, about him being a 'guest' here and should therefore have respect for the rules, but so should everyone and there is a part of me that thinks if we (as in those born and bred here) set a better example on the whole, maybe others would be a little more inclined to follow. The real problem isn't his race/origin, it's the fact he clearly had no respect for rules or other people around him, and sadly this is becoming all too common.

As for people even suggesting that the OP should have gone further, that makes me really worry about some people's mentality.

The fundamental issue that everyone seems to be avoiding is that we (the UK in all our glory) should not allow wasters into the country to sponge off our welfare state and generally act like complete tossers.

Australia is experiencing immigration issues with both legal and illegal immigrants like never before due a government that under Rudd and latterly Gillard is nit taking a hard enough line.

I'm done with this thread as no one will meet half way, they just have their own views which is fine as everyone has their own opinions, can't educate non-listeners.

The op, I may understand you have not made this thread intentionally to deem your self as the R word, but you need to think how it comes across to genuine non English folk that are here legally and born here and doing their upmost best to fit in and get along, then someone's posts such as thread aiming at foreigners.
It's people with that type of word type thinking really bring this country down for all the good folk here wether it be foreigners or not. Like you say your nearly 40 years old and have african friends so therefore your choice of words should be illustrated more carefully.
