Sorry Jon, I think I may have mislead you it is the genuine item for £150 inc delivery from Advanced Automotive/RCM, whereas the same item from japanparts.com is around £400 by the time you factor in shipping, customs and VAT.

Not in the slightest mate, I have never seen an aftermarket piece of kit with factory fittings like that - it'll look good once it's all painted up and fitted
is the s202 spoiler functional or just show like the rest of subaru spoilerS?
It is more functional than any of the others - you can actually adjust the tilt angle on it but for the best effect it would need to be part of a package complete with a diffuser I suspect

I have to be honest and say that I found the S202 spoiler had more effect at low speed than the high STi spoiler.
I found that the STi spoiler only really had an effect at speeds in excess of 130mph, on a private road of course. As when I was going down a downhill stretch of road at speeds approaching 140mph I could feel the front end had gone light due to the rear end being compressed by the downforce generated by the high STi spoiler.
But for normal everyday driving the high STi spoiler is about as much good as a chocolate fireguard.
