We bought our house in Cas Vegas a month ago it was up at £230k and got it for £200k but we sold our house and was in quite a good position to negotiate. We started at £190k!

We are looking to move house quite soon and fancy another new build as we've seen a development and house style we like and also like the idea of part-exchanging our current home (no new build bashing please). The house is a 4 bed detached up at £230k (I bet that makes you Southerners sick doen't it?!? ) Anyway, has anyone on here got any stories or advice on negotiating? What's the best deal you've had?
Why should that make us sick? Your house will always be virtually worthless as it is now.

Well after quite a while negotiating, I managed to get 107% of the average value of our current home in part-exchange, free fully integrated kitchen, turf to the rear and an outside tap (not standard features). I think we did ok!
