They have form on this,

When the mini cooper S won the monte Carlo rally in 1965 the French motoring press could not believe it and challenged a works mini to a stage race with a cooper s straight out of a showroom in Paris

The showroom cooper s won, proving that it was just an exceptional car and the works cars were in fact slower than standard

The French got revenge in the 1966 Monte Carlo rally, when the mini's came 1st, 2nd and 3rd by getting them all disqualified for a dubious technical lightIng infringement, giving the win to a Citroen -- Pauli Toivonen, the Citroen driver refused to take to the winners podium and refused to ever drive for citroen again

I wonder what the IOC will change for Rio this time, so as to TRY to keep the Team GB cyclists from winning again. The word, try, is pertinent.

Go on IOC, try your best...

Oops fail. I thought Hodgy meant Henri. I failed to pay attention to the link - so apologies for being crap.

But yeah, it was a side point anyway.

Two more golds (dessage and wimmin's boxing). Plus a bronze in the dressage too.

Shame for K-A Payne getting 4th in the 10k swimming.

24G 13S 14B = 51
