Having read the thread title "finally finished". I thought you must have decided to f*uck off of SNet for good this time. (Your choice, rather that being banned
)
But now I've looked at the photo's and read the corresponding text, I've come to the conclusion that you've decided that you're probably sticking around for a while. And so I must commend you on a lovely looking Impreza.

What made you this route, presuming you wanted coldest air possible (kudos there) rather than some other engine bay isolation arrangement?

it was the pipework supplied with the fmic.
id like to give you an explanation but there isnt one.
although i have been told this is the best place as the engine bay is a lot warmer than the inner wing

It's not that bad a job to do
Looks good, but did you consider removing any of the black part of the bumper to allow more airflow

the black bit is where the zunsport full length grill attaches.
i think i will refit the grill as it protects the intercooler and also hides it as i m going for the oem look

tbh it took me a few days and was a bit of a pain in the *** but its done now.
not an easy job by any means as it involved removing some on the front bumper bar with an angle grinder and the pipe that goes under the car is a pain to fit on a ramp.

The spray nozzles will probably leak unless you have a good one way valve in line
