Playbooks will also be updated to BB10 when it comes out. I have one reserved and will be picking it up in a bit. This will complement a Tab (mine) and ipad (missus)
£129 for the 64gb is too good a deal.

I got one mainly to stop my iPad getting wrecked by my son ![Wink](images/smilies/wink.gif)
64Gb picked up from Northampton PC World, £129 (they also had the 16Gb one for sale to for £129
). They had plenty as well.
However, not impressed so far. Connected to my home wifi, update failed. Had to search interweb for a solution (which I found as it's a fairly common problem). Just doing a 'forced update' now which it warns me could take up to an hour....
At the end of the day, if it's rubbish then I can just give it to my dad for surfing the web from the comfort of his Stressless

I don't see the logic in that either, they should drop the 16gb (not nearly enough storage these days) to £70 odd so all the kids buy them up, they will soon make the money back via paid apps.
Apart from the forced update on first startup, i think this Playbook is an amazing piece of kit for the money, i got Skype going within 5 minutes along with all my other most used apps.
Ill take some pictures later of the ipad/Playbook together for people who are undecided.

Just a quick one which i thought was quite funny, both the Ipad and Playbook are running the latest updates, Ipad gets mauled, it is noticeably quicker to browse on the Playbook, not as quick as the Galaxy, but not far off.
The HTML5 test score is an indication of how well your browser supports the upcoming HTML5 standard and related specifications. Even though the specification isn't finalized yet, all major browser manufacturers are making sure their browser is ready for the future. Find out which parts of HTML5 are already supported by your browser today and compare the results with other browsers.

I bought a Nexus 7 for the wife on Saturday. She's happy with it.
What put me off the BB stuff is the doubt over the future of RIM and how long the playbooks will be supported.

If there were a 64GB Nexus at £200, than i would have paid the £70 difference however.
I might have been a bit premature to say i got Skype working All Torque, getting it installed is easy, getting it to emulate is proving more tricky, i should have tested after install, ill have a play and see what i can do.
