That is your beloved HTML5 at work, you know, that thing you always go on about, the next generation of web standards, no more Flash etc

It just so happens Ipads are not very well equipped for this as evidenced, you need to install a Google product to be compliant.

Just for comparative viewing..

That looks better, at least now you can fit the whole web page on your screen.

Oh yeah, HTML 5, it was only a few years ago that I was considered a nutter for highlighting it's importance and predicting the demise of Flash.

I was also belittled for suggesting that the Playbook would be a flop, now here it is in the bargain bucket.

“Here's to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They're not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can't do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”

You should thank the organ grinder, not the monkey.

Use your Blackberry phone as a remote control (mouse & keyboard) for the Playbook when connected via HDMI to the tv - works a treat

Cheers, though thought was talking about the 64gb, which would have been an exceptional deal.

With the 64GB version currently only £24 more, you'd be mad to buy the 16GB one.

I have to keep remembering to charge mine up cause if you let the battery drain you can be in for some pain (first time I let it die the thing locked up completely).

I've got an iPad 3 and a playbook. Wife prefers the bigger screen of the iPad (no dear, size really doesn't matter.... ) but if I were going away on a trip I'd pack the smaller Playbook as it does everything I want it to do for recreation purposes.

Edit, I was a bit worried when the OS update seemed to kill the side loaded Kindle app but it was working again last time I tried it.

Haven't found a reliable place to download .bar files though to be able to sideload much else onto it?
