Was sliding off a declined weight bench and put a lot of weight on my side. Don't ask why, I used to just 'sit up' off the bench but had an ab injury a while ago makes me careful about this sort of thing...probably need to rethink how to get off a declined bench. I felt something crack and it's now hurting a fair bit when I move about. Lower rib I think.
I suggest you give up the weights and start figuring out a way to increase your bone density, you are breaking bones trying to function as a normal human, increasing muscle mass is the least of your problems.
