ive had e46 m3 & just sold my e39 m5 to buy my sti uk 04, currently i really miss the m5 bu think thats just due to me having a overheating issue which is getting looked at on monday.
The m3 & m5 i had were fantastic cars, imo the M series vs scoobs is a totally different type of driving, im finding the scoob to safe & makes me lazy when out on hearty drives whereas the M cars it feels more exciting & fun due to being rwd.
If your thinking about making a change to m3 i would certainly say try it but might be worth while getting a test drive from someone who has one first though, they arent for everyone.
