Just out of curiosity what milage and engine internals you running.

Sounds like the spec is good and your headed in the right direction to see 350bhp.

Hi. The car just passed a 100k miles and I'm the second UK owner. When I bought it it was COMPLETELY standard apart from deccated centre section. All other parts were stock so guessing that all internals are stock as well. From what I've read, V2 has a close deck engine with forged pistons so should be enough strong I guess.

It's the rods that are the weak point, i'd be tempted to keep it around the 320/330 mark rather than push for 350, still be a quick car, just bare in mind that it's knocking on a bit and leave some change for a possible rebuild.

When was the cambelt and tensioners done? and were oil and water pumps done at the same time, failure of either will have catastrophic results, if they are original i'd look at those before any major power hikes.

It's not just the gearbox that won't like torque, engine and gearbox mounts won't like it either, if it's on the originals you want them out too, id have that done when you fit the new box and diff.

Brakes? handling?

Once you have 350 you'll need the rest of the car to be able to take it too.

Turbo wise, id be after a Andy Forest or Harvey jobbie if i were you.

Are lightweight pulleys worth doing/fitting ? Would this modification improve torque ?
I want to do as many things at one go, so don't have to do any tweaks after remap if you know what I mean.

Thank You for that. I'll look into those things before remap definitely.
As for brakes and handling:
Completely rebuild 4 pots (new pistons, seals etc) with Godspeed discs and Kevlar pads plus braided hoses. Eibach P1 springs with Kayaba shocks (done less than 6k), uprated front and rear droplinks (Whiteline) and 22mm rear ARB (Whiteline). Uprated front ARB bushes and steering rack bushes.
ALK to be fitted soon and I think that will be it ATM :-)

Good spec. 20% meth on map 2 is also a cheap option to achieve the power you require without a turbo swap.

As for mods:

ON THE CAR ALREADY
- Major_Sarcasm CHIP
- fully decatted system
- K&N 57i IK
- Harvey ported headers with matching uppipe
- Exedy uprated Stage 1 clutch kit (done less than 2k )
- Lateral Performance lightened flywheel 6Kg
- Walbro 255
- NGK PFR7B spark plugs

WAITING TO BE FITTED
- freshly rebuild (by Three Arches) TY754 box with matching diff
- new ESL daughter board
- FMIC
- 550cc side feed injectors

Am I missing something on my list to achieve good torque figures ?

As advised above, my best bet will be to give a call Andy F and ask for advice regarding which turbo to choose if not to stay with my current one :-)

Thank You

Will be open deck mate I wouldn't bother with the pulleys in all honesty given the flywheel, headers and uppipe.
