Hi Steve, nice to meet you yesterday, the blue Subaru that Frayz spotted could turn up trumps for you, but if not and you like "Green" there is a UK 2.0 Turbo for sale just down the road from me a £1900 on a "T" plate, let me know if you want any more info.

Paul.

Low miler or nicely modded for £1900?

Sorry Steve but cars at that money are cheap for a reason.
At £1900 you're in pure luck and chance territory and nothing else.
These are performance cars that are expensive to run and tune.

For example, my front brakes are £1900!!!

Frayz is right Steve. Decent classics are becoming harder to find, which means that decent ones are holding their value a lot more. There is a lot of rubbish out there, and a lot being broken for that reason.

If you want a performance car for £1900 I suggest a Clio 172 or similar.

I have to agree, owned 4 Impreza's now, best so far was a 96 Classis V-limited, but like most performance cars most come at a price.

Thanks Paul.

I'm hoping ive found one. Its an oldun but apparently has a recon with paperwork to prove.
Oh yeah it also has a recent dyno print out of 308 bhp. It needs some love but hey I planned to take a grinder to it anyways.

Opinions welcome Its not a lot of money so be gentle with the comments.

Lol 308 bhp... I take it the rebuild was as a result of the chip and other ebay mods

Was built by some dodgy firm called API and dyno'd at some two bob outfit.

Mind you what do you expect, the car cost less than a set of brakes.

Purchase price is just the entry fee a mere fraction of owning one infact That one looks gash tbh and is more than likely a potential money pit of other peoples mistakes
