this is what i want to do, keep the updates coming as i need to know the best way of getting that light on the dash to work. the only reason ill be doing this is more room for the filter

I've just de-soldered the bulb from my new dials and having spoken to my MOT tester there's some slack in the MOT regs for cars that are clearly destined for the track so this won't be an issue

And yes, loads more room for the filter - this was part of my reasoning. The noises from the air filter have changed now echoing around the void where the ABS pump was

ohh well mine is a road car day to day, i think a resistor or something will have to be used, im looking forward to when you rip out the wiring loom as i havent looked into that yet.
