Buying pre owned watches
#32
And there's me trying to decide between an Accurist or Casio G-Shock for my 30th!
I've seen some companies offering 0% finance on tag watches. Really, why the hell would you spend 4 years paying off a bloody watch? Even when my mrs said to me last night, 'Well, if you really like it?'
It's a ****ing watch sweetheart!

I got a omega speedmaster , took it as part payment on a job....it's worth nearly 3 times what it stands me at.
I have a friend who is crazy about them.....spends thousands , eBay USA is where he hunts them down

1, to check it was genuine,
2, to get some papers to certify that (for future resale value)
3, to get some quotes for realigning the second hand.

£460.
They're £1100 in the shops and looking at Parkers around £600 preowned in 'good' condition £650 in 'excellent' condition but it was due to this thread that I found out that you can buy them from a Tag outlet for £760 - which is a bit closer than I would have hoped for.
