Had a busy day today got the wipers on and they are brilliant! Glide across the windscreen and no noise or streaks. Very pleased

Won't bore anyone will let these pics do the talking instead

Very pleased Frayz did a fantastic job and the fit n look is like original

Also had to give the scoob a clean, rude not to

Did a bit of chopping and folded one of the air tunnels as discussed. That bolt worked a treat too nice and secure can't tell you how pleased I am with it just need the switches to function now

Had a sort out this afternoon mate...

There's 7 x 63mm joiners, but the japspeed kit only uses 6. There's also the step-up and step-down hoses for the turbo/inlet. I've also dug out all of the mikalor clamps which includes enough for all of the 63mm connection and one for the turbo connection. There isn't one big enough for the inlet and I recall using my OE jubilee clip, but there is a big enough one there if you need that for something else. If you wanted Murray Clamps you need 16 at about £6-7 each plus postage

PM me with what you need and we'll sort it all out

Not sure how well something like this would fit, but it's a pricey option compared to the cost of some new FMIC kits

Cheers again for the help Jon pricey for just the pipe work. Turned out to be a headache all this

Just been speaking to Craig (infected by Sti) who's kindly offered me a set of pipe work for the cost of postage

With your hoses Jon do I need anything else apart from filter? I've already got the ssq

Will I need a over flow bottle? Any more air hoses?

Cheers

If it the old style hybrid pipework that runs under the car you'll probably get away with keeping your over flow tank. You'll need a MAF housing if your induction kit doesn't have one; RCM filters generally do but my current set up has a universal K&N, and then you'll need hose to join this lot up. You can keep you current breather hoses but you'll need to remove the pipe of the top mount and find a way of mounting it.

If you do need anything this is the japspeed ancil kit...

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SUBARU-IMP...item2a2e1c3b5c

Depending on how you mount the SSQV you'll need either an adaptor for the base plate or if you remove it you'll need a hose to join the two - if you let me know what size each end is I might have one that will fit that I can throw in with all of the other hoses.

It's a shame you're so far away otherwise you could fit it on my drive and raid my bag of spare blue hose for anything you need as you go along and I could knock up any brackets you needed

That real kind of you to offer Jon always thought its a bugger yourself, Ryan and Frayz live so far away from me

Sure Craig said its the up and over piping so is need to get a smaller over flow bottle I guess

Ill try the breakers see what I can find. Piping and core will be going to see Ryan for a paint (he doesn't know yet) see what he thinks too whilst I source the bottle and filter.

If you fancy the road trip, it's about 3 and a 1/2 hours each way

You can use anything you like for the over flow as long as you hose goes to the bottom - an old strongbow can will do the job if you can mount it and put a lid on

The up and over pipework does seem better as the pipes that go under the car always seem to hang low

And I'd also consider powder coating for the pipes - Maggy can get them done for a good price

Sounds like a task and a half lol.. Wish I'd of just bought new so all the correct fixing etc were there. Suppose it'd be easier to get it fitted incase of any problems
