Running away with a 15 year old ...

Some posters on here do show a remarkable attitude to sex with a child (someone under 18 in my book) ...... I cannot even comprehend what Morals say that it is OK for a 31 year old to have a relationship of this kind with a 16 year old.
I'm glad that these are in the minority in the country .... or else the country has, indeed, lost any moral compass whatsoever.

^^ Legally correct albeit there is something creepy about even a 16 year old with a 30 year old ... bordering on pedo imho
TX.
Edit - a 16 year old is still a child in my book whereas at 18 to 20 ish I'd consider them an adult so it's less of an issue for me.

Oh, BTW...the word "child" technically refers to a person between birth and puberty. Much like paedophilia which is mainly termed as a interest in children, i.e prepubescent individuals. It amazing how many people don't realise the distinctions between paedophilia, hebephilia and ephebophilia.

People who are 16 are not children, so what exactly is your objection?

Well legally yes they are, they are children until they turn 18. So yes British law allows children to do those things once they turn 16, it doesn't make them an adult under law.

It's like saying that someone who 16 years old exactly is eminently more qualified to make a decision about having sex than someone of 15 years and 364 days.
They are young adults.

You're missing the point really ....
To my mind a 16 year old is a child - they cannot vote, for example.
The age of consent is 16 - that does NOT mean that a 16 year old girl is available for sex to anyone who can persuade her that way - that is simply against the whole moral law.
Some 16 year olds are ready for a relationship ..... these are entitled to develop their sexuality with their own age bracket, they should not be exploited (as some on here seem to think is perfectly acceptable) by some perverted 30 year olds!!!!
I am shocked, and disgusted, in equal measure at the deprived points of view posted in this thread.
I do come from a different generation, yes, but the basic moral material that makes me up surely is available to others .... in some small measure at least?

Again .... pow!
The point has been missed ...... no-one thinks, as an example, a 50 year old with a 65 year old is anything to be concerned about.
BUT, the same gap between 16 and 31, IS something to be concerned about and it's worth fighting against.

But back in the real world.....
This kid has possibly had the most exciting week of her life. Romance (as she sees it), an adventure, travel and sex. Free from her parents and school.
But now the authorities move in to give her misery and humiliation and the worst week of her life.
And all those claiming to hold the moral high ground squawking "It's for her own good"
Good luck kid

Hey, if you think having sex with a kid and broadcasting it over the Internet, and think its ok, then knock yourself out. The law means nothing, moral issues is the problem here

[QUOTE=David Lock;10804117]IIRC statutory rape is 12 and under. Serious stuff. Knocking off a 15 year old (unless you're a teacher) is less serious. And probably more enjoyable.

Take a guess, everyone else has, news, parents, friends etc. The exception will be plod and social services who will treat them like they have... Regardless of evidence. If the pair are clever they'll say nothing. But knowing plod, they'll easily crack them into implicating Forrest, usually under duress.

Im on the fence with most of the comments here tbh, disagree with people like Pete calling him scum of the earth and all that, agree that its wrong though tbh. Firstly, forget breaking the law, that could probably be forgiven in this day and age with a 15 yr old, the majority of them are sexually active anyway, jeez I was 15, 17 years ago and we were all at it back then too and theyre alot worse nowadays, not that, that makes it ok obviously. But the point is, hes a teacher, not that he should know better, the point is, her parents (loose term from what I gather anyway) put her technically in his care for 6+ hours 5 days a week. It is disgusting that both of them can betray that trust, although its probably expected of someone of her age to rebel. Therefore it makes it more plausable that it was more likely her idea in the first place.

On the flip side maybe we're being overly cynical.
i.e inappropriate relationship = sex is mandatory?
It's a sad train of thought to think that anyone who has had a close friendship with a member of the opposite sex means that they have to **** each other.

The bickering that goes on here makes me laugh!
When I was in school I remember at least 4 different teachers having "inappropriate" relationships with 15/16 year olds and one of those was a female sports teacher and a girl!
The law is the law though so regardless of the age gap it's illegal if he did have sex with her and that's the black and white of it. Personally if he was 35 and she was 18, I couldn't care a less what 2 consenting adults get up to.
I bet a proportion of the "moral high ground" brigade harping on about age gaps when it's legal, are behind close doors, some of the dirtiest people you could know......

Not blowing trumpets or anything, Im 32 and my last 4 birds have all been between 18 and 21 in the last year. I dont see anything wrong with it, if Im not going to be in them, some bugger else will be. Point is though, hes a teacher and is in a position of trust and responsibility. That is what lets society down in the long run, especially when you look at the schools track record.

You should be embarrassed ........ can't you hold a relationship with a mature woman of around 30?
Seriously, I look at people like you and - far from thinking you are great, as you seem to think you are - think, "There goes a boy whom holds not one ounce of desire for a woman, so, he has to chase kiddies" and an 18 year old girl IS still a kiddie!!
You need to mature and attract a better class of partner ....... you're just out of playing My Little Pony FFS!!!!
