Not my worse car but for some reason this reminded me of a time in wales, not long after passing my test i went through a few **** cars,me and a mate went to wales,i was in my fiat panda 4x4 and he had a peugeot 405.One day we decided to take a short cut to town, which meant going up a very steep hill.I was lead vehicle and started to climb the hill when all of a sudden i noticed my mate was no longer in view, hmmm i thought as i got to the top.About 20 mins had passed still no sign of him, where the **** is he i thought,i decided to drive back down the hill, and eventually i spotted him part way up the hill but not moving.Walked over to him, what's up i said i been waiting ages at the top.I can't make it he said the car won't go up it.i pmsl. Here was me with a little 999cc engine
car that p!ssed up this hill, and my mate with a big 2ltr engined car that couldn't make it up the hill.![Lol1](images/smilies/lol1.gif)
i never let him forget it either.Anyway we had to end up going the long way round. But a tell you something that fiat panda was a good car, you'd pull a lever to engage the 4x4 and it got me out a few muddy fields, considering the size of the engine,it was a bloody good puller...

Worst by a country mile was my Peugeot 205 gti 1.6 I bought many moons ago when I was twenty something. Anything that could go wrong did go wrong and it wasn't even quick. To make matters worse my brother went out and bought a 1.9 gti.
Best car is probably my current car, a range rover sport. Not been the most reliable car I've ever owned but overall it pips the rest.

Worst was an Audi 80 1.9 TDi Avant. It was just ****. Got it at 110k miles, it had an intermittent engine fault which we never cured where it would judder and fail to accelerate when you put your foot down. The aux belt tensioner failed and left us stranded and cost £500 to fix, it never cost less than £500 at MOT time, and eventually an ABS fault at 135k miles made me sell it.
It cost me more in repairs than it did in fuel.
Best in all honesty was my Impreza Wagon - 2004 WRX PPP. Loved every minute of it. Miss it badly. Leather interior, loads of power ,and it got me out of many a scrape.
Close second was my MK1 MR2 which was mint and an absolute riot to drive .I replaced all the suspension on it and tracked it several times. Whole days spent over 6,000 rpm!
And I loved my 200SX too. A cruiser which could pick up it's skirts.

Like all the VW's I've owned it was a reliability disaster. Beautiful to look at , not bad to drive, but constantly broken.
Best....Subaru Impreza.....

Solidly reliable, awesome performance, astounding handling.

A VW being unreliable? Never!
My brother in laws Golf has just chucked up all its steering fluid outside my driveway...I told him buying a VW will only end in tears.

Worst - Alfa 146, everyone has to try one at one time, luckily it was a company car so easy to dump back on fleet management
Best - the r35, nothing will ever compare to it

Best - My Clio Cup. Awesome car which did many laps of the Ring and still got me to work and back. Cried when it went.... Would buy it back today if I could.

Worst - I think it was a Metro I had when I was 20. Rusted like **** and had the street cred of an invalid carriage. Got shot as soon as I had 2 years NCB under my belt!
Not mine, but similar, so you can marvel at the full beauty of this baby:

My favourites, well there are two...
My last Impreza before the current one (less power than current one but was lovely to look at and I did allsorts to it):
![](http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h171/chocolate_o_brian/S6300049.jpg)
Joint with the car that replaced it when I lost my previous job. Was quite unreliable with being 22 years old at the time but soo much fun when it worked and i learn't a fair bit of mechanical stuff on it too.
![](http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h171/chocolate_o_brian/Wheel%20Refurb%20Album/S6300711.jpg)
Aaaand, the worst... This. What a horrible car. It was a stop gap whilst the Impreza above was having a new gearbox. The clutch was ferked, the handbrake was on one wheel, it started periodically when it wanted to, you either had 1st gear or reverse, never both. Thewiper motor disengaged itself when it was raining and the wiper stalks used to fall off, as well as the washer tanks for front and back not working or having pumps. I used to carry water with me to poor out the window onto the windscreen, when the electric windows worked. Oh and whilst driving at 40mph one day, the brake pipes sheered leaving me with 4 people in the car to stop with said one wheel handbrake coming upto a roundabout.
For this reason, I'll never own another Fiat again, unless brand new, no owners and a bombproof warranty.
I sold it to Scoobyvirgin on here for scrap money and he lost the clutch on the drive home
Poor sod.

Worse car (s) - F reg VW Polo is was a **** bucket and an 02 Focus.
regret them both a little the ford more lol....I class it as my mid life crisis at 30 lol.
Best car well had a few, Octavia Vrs probably one of my favorites as I have has 3 of them especially for th edriving factor, I like my current car which is an insignia as it is a motorway cruiser and suits my current requirements
I do miss my type RA and as it allowed me to walk away from a big crash with only seatbelt bruises I have to remember that fondly

Don't think I've ever had a bad car, although I had a lot of problems from my old Celica gt4 (st165).

The best car I owned
My old Classic turbo 2000.Even thou my STi could run circles around it,It was my first Impreza and first proper performance car I owned.

My worst was " the green bogey " a 1.2 astra GTE replica ![Cuckoo](images/smilies/cuckoo.gif)
![Lol1](images/smilies/lol1.gif)
The floor was rotten and the exhaust could wake the dead.
Me and two of my mates all had mk1 astras and they were all different colours. We were like a very bad version of the italian job![Lol1](images/smilies/lol1.gif)

I've been driving since 1967, so I've had quite a few cars in my life.
None of them ever disapointed me, but the best by far were my Classic Wagon and my Mitzy Delica 2800
![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v325/euromodeller/Subaru/DSCN7381-1.jpg)
Closely followed by my Merc Gelandewagen 280GE

Worst car: Rover 216Gsi Auto which I bought off my grandad as a runabout to replace the aging Nissan Sunny.
Despite being a D16 honda engine...it STILL blew the headgasket. Slow as f**k, handled like a barge and guzzled the fuel (28mpg). Combined with the typical 4" of brake pedal travel that all Rovers of that era with rear drums suffer (I manually readjusted the drums and handbrake...pedal travel was great for a week or two until the auto adjuster fecked it up again)
The 1.3 Nissan was faster, handled better, braked better, cheaper to tax and used less fuel. So sold the Rover and carried on using the Nissan.![Big Grin](images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Best car: Toss up between the Honda NSX and Monaro VXR. Although my favourite car to drive was my dad's 1986 911 Supersports
