It is a pity that he can't be taken to court now so that all those allegations can be dealt with properly.

There are a few people in the BBC now who are going to have a pretty bleak time one way and another. We will have to see what the MP's have got to say after the grilling they gave to Entwhistle.

It is a shame about the damage which will have been done to the BBC's reputation.

"Throughout the latter part of the twentieth century, the BBC was perceived as representing traditional family values, but now we know Jimmy Savile regularly indulged in **** intercourse with underage girls during this period, what do you think the BBC stands for now?" asked my Media Studies tutor.

"B###wring British Children", I replied. * *

I saw some of the "grilling" on the news last night and it struck me as it always does with these "Commons Select Committees" you get the feeling that some of the MP's have the knives out come what may and will get a little nasty with whoever they're interveiwing because they can.

Does anyone know hoiw these select committees are formed, names out of a hat, whoever is available on the day or do they select MP's that have some sort of back ground that could aid the committee.

Apparently Jimmy Savile applied to be England manager in the 1990s

But his application was rejected when it was found he'd put Seaman in the Under 16s

I wish everyone would stop criticising Jimmy Savile. When I was 8, he fixed it for me to milk a cow blindfolded. * *

No, Robsy is filed under "lost cause"; we've had a chat about your/you're in the past and i might as well have been explaining quantum physics for all the good it did.

Never, in the history of Human evolution, has the first of two juxtaposed quotations from the same person so thoroughly refuted the second.

PM me for an explanation of the sentence, Robsy.

Presumably the Police do too given they've begun criminal investigations

Was that post for real, or created by a machine of some sort?

Angry

Two more victims have come forward in the BBC abuse scandal.

They claim they were regularly fisted and fingered by elderly men on a weekly basis and then locked away after the abuse until the next week, both Sooty and Sweep claim they were so traumatised it has left them speechless !

There does seem to be quite a few one line posts by new members from USA with digits in the posters name. I've been ignoring them due to the fact I share your suspicions

Funny you should say that. I got the same impression as you did.

I have no idea how they get selected for the panel but I reckon that they feel thay have got something to prove for some reason so they try to show us all how clever and incisive they are!
