This remeinds me of the time i was sat in the scoob outside a bakery , engine off , waiting for the better half .
Along comes this elderly office type gent who stops , obviously unaware i was sat in the car and decides to use my carbon bonnet as a writing desk for the paper and pen he was holding .
Well , sort of instinctivly i hit the ( uprated ) horn !
Honestly , the way he jumped back you would have thought he had been shot !
After bouncing off the bakery window , he gave me a right earfull as his piece of paper fluttered off up the street

I've read a thread on a forum ( can't remember where now )
And there was a guy on there saying he worked on the show
And he reckoned the buying is fake ( the production company goes out and buys em )
The beetle used in the beach buggy episode was already owned by ed china
The budget is fake ( they fix bits and bobs that They don't show )
And the sales are fake
And mike brewer has a fake rubber hand and **** cheeks made from sponge ( that might not be true )

I love the show and I love to hate MB. Why oh why does he rev the engines from cold, rag the car then just turn the engine off - and my pet hate of all he clicks the hand brake.
I still watch it but I'd be happier with someone who really knew about cars.

I never noticed him 'clicking' the handbrake, now you have ruined it further as I am going to watching out for it now
I like how he always always looks down the side glancingly and says 'its lavly an straight"
You can clearly tell the haggling, buying, selling, test drive part is all fake and staged by the simple fact that they all do the same thing with the keys when handing them over

Ah, so you saw it then, Jawa.
Since when did an intercooler suck in more air. I liked the bit about the physics behind the suspension set up, but if they really wanted a drift car then I think they should have commented more about the tyres, better braking and should have at least fitted harnesses. Reason I say that is that this is TV, and some people might take it as gospel so they should have emphasized the safety aspect.
I also believe Edd knows more than he demonstrates.
Tuppence worth.

Annoys me all the time when he puts his hands or **** all over a car. Good show to watch but don't like the fact that they never tell you the whole story and hidden costs. For example, Mike blew the engine on the Cobra episode but they failed to mention it. For sale here... http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/4210405.htm
Skyline episode on Tuesday (R33 I think)

If the car had only been built in 2001 and never driven then the mileage will be about right and will have been a brand new engine already
