Women drivers!!

Oh, I forgot about just gone Saturday! I planned to meet up with my two female friends for Saturday lunch in a nice, country restaurant at 12 noon. I got there bang on time; waiting for the two to join me. One of them was driving; other one was a passenger in her Fiat. Anyway, to cut the story short, they got lost half a mile away in the town from the restaurant. Her Satnav stopped working, so she got disoriented. On her call, I told them to take right round the roundabout- third exit to A494. Well, the driver one turned right round on the roundabout, and ended up on the same road that she was on before; de-touring the same bleddy town they had driven through before. She kept ringing me, and just wouldn't get the straight-as-her-nose directions. I eventually told her to ask someone in the town, as everyone there knows that popular restaurant on the outskirts. It took them 55 minutes to get to me from half a mile away!
I agree that some women drivers can be incredible.

Well, today I was supposed to do my accounts so as to avoid a £1000 fine. However, I am told that some pine cones required for a Christmas dinner centrepiece is much more urgent, and therefore I must be a taxi for the wimminz. Her eyes glazed over when I told her.... 'Past the shopping centre (she knew where that was) to the r/bout at the top of the hill, second exit towards Wakefield, left at the second traffic lights'. So, that's my day off this week foofed, and next week I will still have my accounts to do so no day off then either.
