Hi All,
Yes it is a shame that the magazine has gone, for now. I know there were mistakes in it, and it was perfect, but for the likes of me, fairly new to scoobs and tuning, it was a great base. Some of the 'How-To' features were good too.
I am completely at a loss though as to how they've gone bust. First of, major magazines have 'apps' or digital versions of their magazine, which obviously eliminates a huge amount of printing cost. The cost of printing say 50K magazines, distributing them etc, its HUGE. I'm not saying go all digital, but only printing say 5000 and sending them out from 'base' for the hardcore fans that want a hard copy, would surely be the perfect compromise.
Now reading that it is for sale, not that I would like to guess how much, but isn't that something that the forums and/or clubs could pitch together and buy? Afterall, there would be MUCH more control over content, features etc
If I had the funds, I'd be up for it

Define your opinion of that, Adam.
I chatted to you briefly at the NBO, I think your car is mint. And it's definitely in the built category.
However, Clive's was a standard P1 that's been built into what it is now. It's definitely in the built category.
Any car that starts out fairly standard, then has work/mods done to it, it'll always fall into the built category.
The bought category is, going out and buying a ready modded big power car. Something like this: https://www.scoobynet.com/subaru-444...-big-spec.html Or me buying Clive's P1, I'd have bought it not built it. It matter's not that a tuner has carried out the work.

long time no speak my old friend, lets hope there will be many more NBO`s in the future.
"built not bough" tends to be a car built with maximum skill and vision on a budget.
"bought not built" in my opinion is a car that has no budget but maximum skill and vision buy the builder/tuner not the owner.
dont get me wrong if my numbers come up the first call i would make would be to RCM then to my travel agent lol.
So in a nut shell anyone with skills can build a puka motor or anyone with the money can have a puka motor but the end result is still a top class car

Two different ways of looking at it, each are right I suppose.
Missed you at Prodrive the other weekend, saw your car there though.
