I purchased these last year from these people, very good price (though they did come from Sweden via DHL), 4 highly rated winter tyres for less than £600 quid is a bargain and they are really good, especially in the snow

If you really want decent winter tyre performance, get yourself a second set of tyres. A proper winter tyre will not just perform better in snow and ice, but any time the weather gets below 7-8°C, which is quite often, even in a UK winter.

I have a set of winter tyres and a set of summer tyres. You don't need a second set of rims, just spend £10 per corner to get them switched over. If you do this, there is almost no additional cost in having two sets of tyres (each set lasts twice as long).

Over here in Zurich it's pretty well compulsory to have full-on winter tyres, and the difference they make is absolutely massive.

Cont t380? winter tyres made last years snow a joy to drive in, I spent most days over taking big 4x4 the feel and confidence is amazing. Cheap set of ebay wheels and the reduced wear on the summer tyres doesn’t make it as expensive as it looks on paper
