ross brawn is surely one of the best team bosses in f1 and must think he can win with lewis.

Yep, hope that's the case - or at worst he'll get the benefit of picking Lewis's brain cell over the technical engineering aspects/thoughts at McLaren, that alone has to be worth something?

I did actually say that he is still a kid, as for the black thing that depends on your perspective.

I also think that his recent media gaffs show his immaturity.

I don't think it's the reason the media are interested in him, but a large percentage of the black community that did not give two hoots about F1 are now followers because of him, the same can be said of the indian driver.

i'm a fan of both JB and LH, JB is one of the best wet weather drivers there is but a tad boring, LH is the most exciting british driver since james hunt and jakie stewarts days, Mansell and Hill in particular were boring by comparison.

i think most people dislike him for his off track arrogance and the way he comes accross.

if he does well and keeps his mouth shut in the coming seasons and drives the exciting way he has done in the past people will warm to him again like in his first two seasons.

also he needs to off load nicole sh1tslinger as she is part of his problem i think.

I don't recall Mansell being boring. I can think of some fantastic drives.

Red 5 was a real hero of mine, it's only later in like I've had to accept he was a bit of a idiot and hated by some of his fellow team mates.

Yeah it's a bit too much of a coinsidence that since she came on the scene his chip got bigger and his performance dipped, and the problems with his dad didn't help, now that the winds of change are blowing, i think she will fall by the wayside on her own, and she's knocking on a bit so he will be wanting a bit of fresh tight young pu$$y before too long, after all he's half black so his d1ck can't resist a bit of fresh.

I think the new challenge will help him to re focus on his driving and ross braun will get the best out of him, lets face it like him or not he is a great driver and if he wins the championship again it will silence his critics, and will be fantastic for the fans, if nothing else it's given us all something to look forward to next season, i personally am quite looking forward to it, which is something i haven't done for a few years.

As for mansell, he was a great driver but lacked carisma, not that LH has any but he does have the ability to excite even those not interested in F1.

The crappy diamond ear-rings that he wears says enough about him to me!

Why does he wear them? To look good?
I will admit to having my ear pierced when I was 14, as everyone was doing it. Took it out a month later as I thought it looked gay!

May be Nicole makes him wear them. You know, when the mrs buys you a crap jumper and gets upset when you don't wear it.

I still say colour plays no part in peoples feelings towards him.
Firstly, he's not even black, half cast yes, but not black.

Its his whole attitude.

OK, Mercedes isn't exactly a slow car, but I can't wait to see how he acts/reacts within his new surroundings.
He's generally not too well behaved when things aren't going well and usually spits the dummy.

Nothing like an attempt at a good, old-fashioned colonial classification.

Better than everyone saying he is black when he isn't.
I will never understand the whole 'race' thing.
If a man is white, he can be called as such and not get offended.
If a man is black and is called black, there is an uproar.

Pathetic.

Anyway, how do you think he will perform at Mercedes - I can't imagine Ross Brawn putting up with his mood swings

I agree with you that if he is not in the best car and winning, he is a moody little ****e that will have hissy fits.
I think the only reason he made the bitchy comment on Twitter was because Jenson beat him. A bit like Spa where he felt the need to post telemetry data to show everyone why he was slower.

I really, really hope Rosberg kicks his backside.

looks like he is as popular as f1 flange on scoobynet.

i think ross brawn will sort him out, make him bin sh1tslinger and concentrate on his racing.

i dont like him, but if he starts winning and stops the arrogant crap i think he will get more fans.

If he stopped wearing his ghey lady-looking diamond earrings it would probably equate to a 0.0023 seconds a lap improvement...

I think his dad tried that and that was what led to LH dropping his dad as manager. I reckon they had a big fight a coupe of christmas ago and I reckon it was over the girl.

i think you are right, i read that in autosport i think.

as much as i dislike his father too i think he was correct on this one, she has had an impact on his racing and not a positive one.

No one can deny that Hamilton is a very capable driver, so good in fact that he can easily fall into your definition of boring!

Button did not seem all that boring when he was forcing the one fingered fellow into making a mistake and then beating him.

Mansell was never a boring driver, he pushed hard all the time and any driver he was following found life pretty difficult alright. Hill was a very good driver and was able to pull out the necessary performance when he needed to. Like his father he was very smooth, just like Button, and was able to get the maximum out of any car he was driving. Stewart was also an outstanding driver but was never that exciting to watch. He was always lucky to have a fast car.

A really top driver as far as driving skill is concerned is able to drive the car extremely fast and is skilled enough to make the car appear as smooth as silk around the corners even when on the bitter edge of retaining control. I imagine that will fit your definition of a boring driver!

Nothing wrong with calling someone black mate. Calling a black person 'coloured' - now that is irritating as hell.

As a "half cast" person myself, i find it as offensive as "mixed race" Im not half as of any cast and there is only one race, Humans.

I prefer Bi-cultural, but it's all bolax, at the end of the day colour has nothing to do with anything, it's the person that counts, and since he hooked up with the totty his performance has suffered, i don't think she is to blame for that, lewis took his eye off the ball and spent too much time thinking about his bird and not his job.

Les i agree with you, i was trying to say rather badly, that lewis is the most exciting uk driver for some time, and my examples were poor.

I seriously cannot keep up with what's PC anymore! When I was growing up half cast was the preferred term. You can see why some people get into trouble by using the wrong term for the period.

I'd like to see a European standard lol.

TBH i really don't care what people call me, it's the fact they feel the need to give everyone some sort of colour based classification, i find strange, for want of a better way of saying it.

I wouldn't worry about it if i were you, just call a spade a spade.

I don't think people feel the need to use colour to classify.

I think it's just an easy way to describe someone quickly, whether that be ginger, fat, bald, speccy, black, half cast, mixed race, white, skinny, spotty, etc.

It's just an identifier. Nothing malicious. Unless used in a derogatory manner.

As a ginger, bald, speccy, black etc, I'm not sure what to think.
