The end of the world is nigh - someone put something stupid on a social media site. And would you believe it they apologised but thats not enough for the media or the SN Jury.

Did I hear right on BBC earlier that Hamilton has already said he can't win the 2013 WDC with Mercedes, and that has royally pissed off the Merc execs?
Way to go Lewis.
It seems that every time he opens his mouth, he puts his foot in it, so Lewis, here's an idea. Forget the "global brand" bull**** your management have been feeding you (no doubt they'll do very nicely out of it) and concentrate on what your good at. Racing. Everything else will fall into place if you get that right.
It's that simple. But probably too late.

Hamilton not expecting to win races in 2013 - Lewis Hamilton has admitted he is not expecting to win next year's Formula One World Championship.
"Absolutely not," he told British reporters in Japan, six races before he leaves McLaren in order to join Mercedes for 2013 and beyond.
"And I don't even expect to win races," the 2008 World Champion said, referring to his impending first season in a new shade of silver.

I don't like Alonso but hold myself back from calling him all sorts of childish names every time his name pops up on a website.

I am amazed by the harsh comments expressed on here about Hamilton. It does seem that people are looking for any little excuse to have a dig at him. Not sure why as there are much more dislikable people in F1.

Typical Lewis haters pretty quick to jump on the Lewis bashing bandwagon again, you lot really need to get out more, staying in everynight and surfing the news sites hoping to hear of him making a mistake must get boring at times.

Name one thing that Alonso has said/done this year that would make you question his character. Lewis has tweeted Mclaren telemetry, dumped the team that supported him through his career, accused Button of being disrespectful for 'unfollowing' him on Twitter (it is irrelevant that Button never followed him in the first place) and has now said that his new team are unlikely to improve next season. It doesn't take a genius to work out that Lewis is a guy that 'does' before he 'thinks'.
He is actually starting to become a bit of an embarrassment for the UK.
As for surfing the net waiting for him to slip up again.....I follow F1 avidly.
So it is obvious that I am going to spot his foul ups soon after he makes them.
In the 20 years that I have been following the sport, I can't remember any other driver being as silly as Lewis is being right now.
I am not denying his is quick. Alonso/Hamilton/Raikkonen and to some extent Vettel are all up there.
Just look where they are in the championship though.
His antics off track 'are' effecting his racing. Fact.
