One point that has not been mentioned so far is that besides being an outstandingly skilful driver, he never cheats or tries to push competitors off the track, he always drives fairly however much he wants to win. We have seen a bit of that in F1 in the past. It is however perfectly fair to position your car in order to make it difficult to overtake etc. but he does not risk other drivers lives.

Believe me,it is pretty frightening to have a driver deliberately trying to push you off track and not caring if he causes you serious injury by doing so. Hamilton is a very clean driver and he deserves credit for that too.

Monaco X 2 Yes - He received a penalty
Canada - He hit Button from behind
Hungary - He spun and did a 180 spin to face the correct way in front of oncoming cars - Not sure if he received a penalty
Belgium - He lost control and spun off
Singapore - Can't honestly remember that one. Think it involved Massa who was in front.

I do agree that apart from last year, he has had very clean seasons and doesn't drive dangerously.

You have to agree Les that his driving in Monaco last year was truely shocking.

Just a thought really. I've not seen any V8SC since the Motors TV coverage went downhill - they didn't even have Bathust.

Tell me about it, apparently V8SC streamed it live on You Tube.

Twice this season Motors have lost a race due to "contractal reasons" Al they do is run a tape Channel 7/V8SC send over after each race. They lost the live Bathurst coverage for the same "reason".

I'm guessing as V8SC's have sold a big live package to the yanks as of this season, + the fact next season will see Mercs (non factory) and Nissan entering the fray they dont see it as such a niche series any longer and I reckon they've been asking Motors for extra cash.

I am slightly concerned for next season's series, hopefully it will still be available on Motors.
In the meantime I had to put up with a 2 hour highlights package which just isnt the same. I must look into going again sometime soon.

Gold Coast Street circuit this weekend, always a bloody good race look out for it the following weekend on Motors, as long as there are no contractual issues.........

Thanks for the information. I presume the incidents he had were not deliberate,or I hope so anyway.

I imagine he is suffering at the moment with his comparative lack of success...I wonder how next season will go!
