Yes, wonderful when you compare the dual core instead of the international version
try GL 2.1 iphone 5 v samsung s3 international, completely the opposite to 2.5 (ie the iphone gets trounced).
Keep it up Jack, still not good enough

Even though I am not keen on the size, I am impressed with the spec of the forth coming HTC One X +:

Sheldon wrote"The iPhone 5 uses custom chips, perfectly matched to both hardware and software, it's a winning combination that Samsung will never be able to achieve."
I believe Samsung Actually make this processor for apple, so it is well within Samsung design capability to manufacture an improved specification (S3 processor).

Make as in they produce the final product, they have nothing to do with the design. Rumour has it they'll be out when it's time for the A7.

Samsung makes high quality products in mass numbers, that no other company can match. If apple start using parts from several suppliers for the same item, undoubtedly reliability/quality issues will and have arisen.
My daughter's friend has just tried to return a faulty from new i5(keeps rebooting) but O2 wont refund, something to do with not being able to get a new replacement within their 30 day refund policy.

Samsung Design processor, probably the biggest with a proven record of mass production and high quality. Yes apple is trying to distance themselves, but I very much doubt completely, apple are now purchasing more memory chips from Samsung than ever before.

If she wants a replacement iphone 5, tell her to make a genius bar appointment and they will give her a new replacement if they cant fix it there and then (or as soon as they have stock)

Either your daughters friend is lying, or O2 have no idea what they are talking about.
I suspect the former.

There's quite a few issues reported in that article. Ok, as with everythng you only hear from people who have had a problem, which may be a small percentage, but it's still happening to significant amount of devices.
The overheating one seemed to be the worst.
Geezer

A colleague of mine got his iPhone 5, was happy with it and then soon afterwards dropped it and as you expect was scratched. He called Vodafone to say his phone was scratched out of the box and got it replaced with another new one!

Scamming chavs like your mate probably make up 98% of the claims.
