The Royal Marines are animals ...... which is what we want them to be in the warzone.
They rape, torture and murder ... although, normally, this is overlooked in foreign lands. The Taliban may be mad - but don't ever think that our forces act like angels!
The real problem is that they act like animals when back home too. This case is being held in a Military Court - or the true facts of these animals actions at home may be aired too, and we wouldn't want to hear that, would we?

This however is your worst post and I will never think of you in the same light again.
As an ex bootneck I find that extremely offfensive. The Royal Marines are amongst the most highly trained disciplined soldiers in the world and whilst some aren't angels to say they go around raping and murdering people is complete and utter bollocks.
In short you should be f*cking ashamed of yourself for writing such BS.

Oh really?
I'm a current serving Royal marine and just so happend to be out there last year when the above allegations took place. It is all b******s.
Your uneducated and ill informed views are typical of the modern day inbred idiot. Yes we make mistakes and it may seem what we do is wrong. But in the heat of the moment only YOU can question your actions. Not some fat p***k sat at a keyboard looking into a world he knows nothing about. As long as those actions can be justified then no-one can tell you you were wrong. Even a military court.
I would suggest you take a long hard look at yourself. I wonder if someone like you and your strong views would have the minerals to say that to our face? Probably not, much easier behind a computer.
Regards

I will continue to keep this polite even if you cannot - I can only conclude that the more desperate you become (as your arguments are manifestly pulled apart) the ruder you become.
BTW, I didn't say that you stated that the Americans were behind 9-11, but you sure as hell imply it with you line of reasoning.
Why don't you just answer my earlier question; how did we get to where we are with regards to Afghanistan? I think if you did that I'd understand where you are coming from
The more desperate I become? the more ruder I become ? come on Martin come better than that. For someone who claims to know the War is not illegal where are all your facts?
So lets get this straight ......because I believe the War was illegal my line of thought is that of believing 9/11 was done by the American Government?
How have you come to this conclusion?
In answer to your question we the British find ourselves there to make claim on the resources. On the back of the American invasion.
Does this answer your question or are you after the root cause? Please can you answer my questions from earlier on? And please make sure you google before answering

Now, Juggers seems to have developed a bit of a swagger here; confident, seems to have the courage of his convictions. Given this, I'll repeat a question I posed a short while ago:
You never did answer, Juggers.

What about 7/7? Conspiracy or a real act of aggression?

Trooper lol
I don't know where to start
You've just said again there is no OIL in Afghanistan when there obviously is
And to try and back up your ignorance you have taken a few sentences out of context and highlighted them. This is a great example of what people do when they are in the wrong and have something to hide.
Instead of admitting that your not as smart as you thought you were and that you should of at least googled it you decide to continue with your "ill informed facts"
However you do seem like a decent chap, and I would imagine you as a Soldier would feel the need to reinforce the reasons why we went to war.
So that all those lifes of the innocent people men, women and children of Afghanistan, Iraq and those British service men (half of them only young kids 16-19) did not go to waste lining the pockets of the rich, corrupt and corporate organisations.
That way you can sleep at night knowing that you weren't just a puppet and you are an actual hero.
There are many men in this world good and bad. Some people think by not getting involved we have no party to what's gone on. The one that watch's is just as bad as the one that commits .We the British public are just as guilty as those 5 Men as it is us who have allowed all of this to happen.
Shame on us all

I am not sure what the problem is here
Ultimately it is whether the concept of cold bloodied murder can be perpetrated in a war zone, by soldiers
If you take the view that it can’t, then by all means defend the Marines with utmost conviction and vigour
If you take the view that it can, then, what investigators purportedly saw on the laptop needs to be investigated
The third position is that it is possible to commit cold bloodied murder, but the concept of an “eye for an eye” trumps every other consideration

Do you believe it is illegal for a country to go to war to defend itself from an unprovoked attack?

It is very difficult to discuss anything with someone who has such an utterly fixed view on things. Who seems to view everything through an anti-American and conspiratorial prism.
I have answered all of your questions in detail and in most cases repeatedly. To no avail, you steadfastly refuse to acknowledge the facts.
On the issue of legality; whether you or I THINK something is legal or not, is utterly irrelevant to the actual legality of the said issue. Another basic and undeniable fact that is completely lost upon you.
On the train of events I asked you about; couldn’t you be a bit more detailed and factual? To start with you managed to avoid mentioning 9-11 in regards to the conflict in 2001. How is it possible to ‘forget’ that FACT?
You seem very reluctant to even acknowledge 9-11, is that because your whole argument falls apart at that point?
And I am still waiting for you to criticise the Taliban. Do you not realise that it makes you come across as someone who’d actually be happy if the UN mission in Afghanistan failed!

And in all i disagree with the war and whatever led to it in the first place, if someone came into this country and declared war then i think we would all jump in and defend our country, family and livleyhoods.

I think the poster is suggesting that the first reaction to something that upsets him is one of aggression, which while most would understand the frustration some would suggest that this trait would support a swift "loss of emotional rationale and subsequent control."

You just like trooper seem to be going round in circles. I challenge everything in the media yet you chose to believe it.
Again I will ask you what do you "REALLY KNOW" other than what you have heard in the news?
Why do we have ex SAS soldiers condemning the war and also stating it is an Illegal war.Does this mean he also believes in 9/11 conspiracy's?
And why does this not get as much media coverage?
AND.....and ...and OMG he believes the Government had lied OMG he must be on crack
