Laptops are for research and designing quality work for school projects, they still have to write things out

My 14 year old daughter does her homework in the living room as she has loads of room and tables are next to her.

i am quite impressed with the amount of parents that do not allow TV's/Console in childrens bedrooms

my eldest does her homework in her room (but she has her own netbook)

the rest tend to do it at the dining room table, and the twins at the kitchen table
