I like that. says it fits models up to 2002. Mines a 2002 sti so will it fit. Not worried about the chip as mines not in use anyway

So it won't work with mine then John?

I was unsure if the immobiliser was oem or part of the Sigma Alarm?

Standard on Spec C's - they even give you a weight saving key.

I've got 3, titanium keys that is.

It's in the ECU on yours if you still have the MY06 OEM ECU fitted. Have a look at the ECU number, you can then cross reference it to be sure.

These keys should fit the classic ignition (mine is a v6), without any modification...it's just the locks it needs modding to fit. That e-bay seller is a top man and super easy to deal with.

Thanks again to Ryan for helping out with mine

Sorry to dig this up but after spending about an hour searching/researching a decent replacement key, I find myself here .

Idiot previous owner destroyed the factory key, like the rest of my baby pretty much and had a "tree fiddy" special made up and it is awful. I have a separate alarm fob but as mentioned on here I have seen that people say the STI titanium job won't work without modification on classics.

I saw a couple of obvious differences such as the angle of the front cut of the key and a slight different angle on one of the rear recessed parts but can't see anything else. Is the actual thickness of the key used different?

I really want one of these for Fluffy as I can't find a suitable replacement. Prodriverules, would you be kind enough to let me know what it is that you mod to make them fit on classics and what would be the damage if you were able to mod one for me?

Cheers,

Nick
