I found out the poison we use on our farm. It's called Sorexa D Professional and it's the only one we've found to be very effective.

It is a living creature and as such has a right to its life.

If you are so manly that you feel that you must kill it, at least do it as painlessly as possible.

There is nothing wrong with having a merciful outlook on life!

Rat poison is not fast and is a cruel method to kill them.

Its all down to personal feelings,if you get joy out of killing something slowly and unpleasantly, that is your prerogative. Personally I don't!

Unfortunately Leslie it is a sad fact that most towns and cities are infested with them thanks to the dirty ways we live and the rubbish we leave lying around. Sure poisoning is a slow way to deal with them but it is the only effective way to keep the numbers from exploding, trapping is not effective as it is labour intensive and the Rats soon learn to avoid the traps.

On top of this they do carry some nasty diseases and if they weren’t kept in check by poisoning there would be a lot more people contracting Weil’s disease.

Oh yes,I know about the problems associated with them and you are quite right of course.

My point was that I don't like to think of them in agony as they die. Its my personal feeling of course and I am not ashamed to admit it.
