Unfinished?? Do you mean maps? Those will never be finished, the rest of the release has been beyond expectations.

This is not trolling, i just want to know. What are the amazing things that are given by iOS6.0.1? I just did the update of iOS6 and 6.0.1 and apart from maps, and little things, I can't see much.

As I said, not trolling......promise.

"Resolves an issue that prevents iphone from using the cellular network"
"Fixes a passcode lock bug which sometimes allowed access to passbook pass details from lock screen"
"Fixes a bug that prevents iphone 5 from installing software updates wirelessly over the air" - you have to use another fix first though to allow your upgrade to take place!
"Fixes an issue with the camera flash that doesn't always go off"
"improves reliability of wireless connection to wpa2 wifi networks"

Beyond expectations? Really

No, but I think you're expecting too much of a software release. Give me an example of a perfect OS release, one that never needed in interim update.

I'm assuming that's after the update to iOS6? I updated the Mrs' 4s and she's been complaining about the battery too. Have had a quick look on the Apple site and there's a big thread on it with some suggestions in it so I'll be going through them tonight. Seems like it's common though judging by the number of posters on there so hopefully something in there will help fix it.

Its not about perfect releases its about a finished release

I am sure you will agree a fundamental feature of a mobile phone is to be able to access the network. Therefore I would expect a phone that's released to be able to do this immediately not rely on a bug fix a few weeks after the release. I know it doesn't affect everyone but it is a problem and one that apple acknowledge.

Just waiting for the face time thread to appear

Hands up if you were unable to access the network? OK nobody you can put your hands down now.

I'm waiting for the FaceTime thread to arrive as well, Andy's probably too busy masturbating right now. It's an interesting one, who's the devil, Apple or the Patent Troll.

You mean the one where Apple was fined $386m for stealing VPN technology from VirnetX, who you now refer to as trolls for protecting their intellectual property?

I think you'll find that they were Trolls way before this particular case.

Well, Apple live by their aggressive patent litigation strategy, live by the patent, die by the patent.

Interestingly in court

But Apple developers testified that they "didn’t pay any attention to anyone’s patents when developing their system.”

So when a Patent Troll does it it's fair but when Apple does it they're tossers.

No not saying it's fair, but Apple is the biggest patent troll of them all and unashamedly so; from Apple Corps to a small family cafe in Germany, Apfelkind. Apple even went as far as to say the trademark DOPi could be confused with iPod. There are so many of these silly cases Apple made to name.

Well the DOPi one I can agree with. I'm sure a certain burger company would have words if DonaldsMc hit the High St.

Well yes, they have an arrogance about their patents and running rough shod over other companies patents, see earlier comments from court case as an example.

When ever you see a case go against apple the comments roll in across the internet about how good it is that apple got a kicking and no its not just Android forums, even posts at mac rumours are starting to say that apple have lost it.

apple cant continue to litigate against everyone, it will be their downfall. The apple brand is now tainted (outside the fanatic followers) and will continue to get worse until apple stops litigation and starts competing, not likely in my opinion

See what happened to the once mighty Nokia!

Jack's Kryponite, he's homophobic

To rid him from threads just describe your inner desires about Jack and puff

He'll be gone
