Don't think many people haven't done 100mph, just haven't been caught. I recently got done for 39 in a 30 but luckily have been offered the awareness course so will avoid the points.

Agreed if you speed you take a risk & have to face the consequences, but any Subaru owner who claims to have never broken the limit is talking through their self righteous **** & needs to get off their high horse. Their is no place for dangerous driving on our roads but 99% of motorists break the limit on a daily basis.

Only an approved calibrated device is admissible in court. Trackers only record average speed & aren't accurate so don't worry.

100mph are we all acting like we stick to 70 in our cars. Lol
If your good driver nothing wrong with 100 mate especially if there no traffic.
Plenty people do a ton on the motorway i say next time try 110

Just plead with them that you got job if you have and that your really sorry.or borrow someone's baby tell them your wife was in labour you needed to get home

No he was parked up on the otherside of the duel carriageway... Obviously chased after me... Didn't even see him

Did you admit it? Often the police try to scare you into admission when they have no evidence. Unless they are offering a fixed penalty I'd ask to see the evidence & if it looks as sketchy as it sounds deny everything.

As said previously just beg forgiveness and don't bullsh*t in court as they've heard it all before and will hit you harder whereas if your remorseful they might be more lenient? Good luck and unlucky.

I had that once at 3am by a meat wagon, tried to trick me into setting my self up even used the act of friendship to put my guard down

I also got caught bang to rights doing over a ton on the a40 on the way to work by undercover old bill, I was late (btw not a ****ing valid excuse and in ever used it) ,,,, they was doing 40 when the limit back then was 50 so I started to flash them to move over, then gave up and undertook them and ****ed off, after the bend straightened I noticed the was miles behind but flashing headlamps so slowed down

Got put in the back of the car, told I'm getting a fixed penalty as they as on the was to something and don't have time to arrest me,,,,,, then couldn't find his book in the car so told me " keep driving like that and traffic will catch up with you,,, off you go"

My excuse was going to be "I was doing 75 " but then realised its was a 50 so just said " I'm a ****, my fault can't even say the reason as its not excusable "

Still I done well to " get off " that

Can't believe some people think that 100mph on a motorway is dangerous,,,,, ****ing glad you ain't driving me long distance anywhere

And people wonder why impreza owners get a bad rep... Says it all above really, flashing cars to move out the way, getting annoyed so undertaking and then speeding onto 100mph in a 50.

Not just in a subaru I've done this in, try in my clio but I get ignored, best was in my BMW just a flash and people moved,,,,,,,,, Btw this is for the people who sit at 70 in the outside lane when ther is 2 or 3 lanes free they can move over too,,,, it's not rude it's people need to Learn how to drive on motorways

To be fair 9/10 in the impreza cars just move over anyway apart from that morning

Lesson erm sort of learnt I guess

I would still break the speed limit driving to work if I didn't start riding my bicycle to work,,,,, even ragging the **** out of my car I can get home quicker on my bike and its 11 miles away,,,,,,, ****ing hate the north circular !

I'd say 6 points and £300/£400 fine or 28 day ban and driver speed awareness course.
Go to court, dress smart and be VERY VERY sorry. It's the judges discretion at the end of the day. So tell him what a fool you have been and how sorry you are.
We all have quick cars and we all speed from time to time. Just be very very careful where and when you do it.

Good luck.

Im new to subarus - the issue is you get to 100mph with very little effort at all. I speed, when i deem the road conditions / traffic flow permits. And i still get 26 mpg at 100mph haha!

Maybe 6 points £200 fine and maybe 28 days ban unless the judge is a nice one, plead if you can to avoid the ban.

Hey just wondering what part if the ring road was it. As above if you have decent mitigating circumstances the judge may let you off lightly.

Unless he had the ghost of jimmy savile visiting in daughter I doubt any just would let you off doing 100mph in court

A ban would be harsh though but sometimes the judge can be

Why should they need to move over ?? They are traveling at the maximum allowed speed in the fast lane of the motorway, they can't LEGALLY travel any faster. Other than emergency vehicles no other car/van/bike should be coming past them. Maybe they are just trying to slow idiots down who tail gate and flash their way through the traffic.
Maybe it's YOU who needs to learn how to drive on the motorway. By accelerating hard upto 100mph, slamming your brakes on behind slower traffic then accelerating hard again over and over not only uses masses more fuel but is actually no faster than sitting at a constant 70/75mph.

Don't get me wrong, it also annoys the hell out me when traveling on the motorway and there's an old git in the fast lane traveling at 65 when I'm cruising at 70 but hey, what can you do, it doesn't mean you can sit on their **** flashing your headlights and waving your arms around screaming and shouting. You'll still get where your going but maybe 2 minutes later.

There is no such thing as a fast lane, it's an overtkaiing lane!

Unless they are overtaking something they should be in the left most lane, that is why they should move over. Ginge clearly stated that they could move into the left hand lanes and that is exactly where they should be.

No wonder the country has worsening driving standards with this sort of carry on!
