Out of interest what settings are people running on their AST setups. I was told not to run too hard settings while on bumpy roads to avoid damage to the setup.

I was never happy with any setting on bumpy roads that's the reason I got rid of them.

The car never felt planted on anything other than a smooth road.

Sadly not. I took them off and re-fitted them, and Litchfield's re-aligned everything when the car was serviced a few weeks ago.

The breakdown of costs was:

Service four shocks at £65.00 each = £260.00
2 springs at £55.00 each = £110.00
2 springs at £55.00 each = £110.00
2 springs at £29.00 each = £58.00
Total £538.00 + VAT at 20% = £107.60
Total £645.60

Obviously, if you re-use all the springs (mine were rusted very badly so I wanted new ones), it works out at £312.00 all in.

You're welcome. All I'd say is those prices were from last April, so given inflation, they may well have risen a bit since then (or maybe not, if you're lucky).
