You are right, but so scientific, jef. Where's your imagination and the hopeless romanticism, man? Mrs. Jef has got it right for not having it microwaved. She knows the difference.

i drink green tea and with lemon mostly twinnings and it tastes same with kettle or microwave heated water.

Green tea is good for you. The female child of mine is into green tea. She has taken plenty to her Uni. Her skin looks luvverly like a China doll's.

joking aside i guess tea drinking can, tbe same as anything develop a culture of appreciation behind it. just tea drinking for me is not important to savour and appreciate as some do. each to there own. my fav is always green tea an d lemon- no idea why. quite probably due to being sapped in by health claims then never givintg it up

LOL never heard of that before. Things you do for making it just right for you. I do understand, though. As I say, I have to have it boiling hot and with just the right consistency to suit my taste. Or I'd just pour it down the sink, and make another one to get it right for me.

being scientific about it, i can see some flavours may just be released with near 100 degree water temp, but it makes for uncomfortable consumption. i dont eat food thats going to burn the skin in mh mouth, and i dont want a drink that will result in similsr injury.
i do think the consumption of a hot drink can aid digestion as a catalyst of sorts, but it doesnt need to injure you on the way down and the drug effect comes only into play after consumption and partial digestion. so tje whole obsession doesnt come into play for me. however i do like to understand others interpritation

Yep! Imagination and romanticism catalytically bring forth scientific inventions. More imagination and more romanticism added to the Mother necessity= more scientific inventions and discoveries. See, there's no real land without a dreamland.

What??? I think I need to lie down.

LOL I do agree with the harms of drinking or eating too hot foods and too hot drinks. But as regular humans, we are all obsessed to a certain degree with one thing or other in this day and age. It may be the boiling hot tea for me, and it may be the "not being obsessed with anything obsessional" obsession for you.

You-me means anyone, I mean.

It is an acidic drink and for that reason I had to change to coffee. Pity because I always enjoyed it.
