Well been told a load of rubbish yesterday.
Rang the third party insurance this evening, they said if its not deemed as a write off you say you want your car fixed and they will do it, apparantly the third party do not have anything to do with the claim as my claims department has used their own independant assessor....
They just get sent the bill at the end of the day.
So i've told my insurance that i want my car fixed, only thing is they have a policy where they have to contact the third party regarding the claims and how much its going to cost.
Basically they're making £100 a day of me using the hire car so they're making it last.
Well good news that hopefully she will be fixed... as of when i do not know happy mood now.

Cheers mate yeah very pleased.
Basically they said that because it's over the 66% borderline they need to inform the third party regarding the action they will be taking. Because it was classed at 86% it's below the write off threshold (over 100%).
I have told them to phone them tomorrow and i want my car fixed ASAP. Because i'm fed up of driving a girl's car lol.
Just gotta wait and see the outcome for tomorrow. hopefully all well though.
Can't wait to get in the drivers seat of her again, hear the exhaust rumble and my dump valve going whoosh
You can tell i've missed her a lot lol

Well been on the phone again today, and good news, yes it's being repaired, but I'm waiting for my insurance to contact the assessor so he can authorise the repairs (don't ask)
So car should be back with me in the next 11 days, Can't wait to drive her again
I'm hoping she will be done for the next posers cruise, as haven't been to that in a while, Would be good to take the car out for a good run
All good news though, what a bloody pain in the **** insurance companies can be.
