Nearly forgot there are actually two more things:
A Hawkeye STi rear window/roof spoiler and I picked up a set of Prodrive 18'' PFF7's in need of a refurb in a colour to be decided.

I hope there's nothing else anyway apart from the radiator and gearbox oil cooler combo which is in manufacture with AH Fabrications in Hereford.

The Prodrive wheels are going to allow me to keep the BBS wheels for 'best' and show use, as I won't mind if they get kerbed or take a dink or two.
The roof spoiler I've always liked them plus I think it'll look good with the lip spoiler and add to the overall look of the car.

Some of the mechanical work I could probably do myself but finding the time is my problem plus my lack of patience is another.
Far easier for me to give someone else the headaches and problems.

As for the downs of Subaru modding I've certainly known what they are like, I could probably write the book having been put through the ringer and come out the other side with a considerably lighter wallet.

I'm on the lookout for a set of McGard black spline guard wheel nuts if anyone can recommend a supplier, there is also a Subaru OEM version with an STi logo on the end.
Anyone who can recommend a UK supplier as with the £ so weak against the $ there is no point importing from the USA.

I've no problem spending it myself to be honest but thanks for the encouragement.
They are rather lovely and their available in a range of colours as well.
Try buying Volks Formula wheel nuts they're even more expensive, plus if you want the best you have to pay for it.

I'd rather spend on a good set of wheel nuts rather than watch a wheel go in the opposite direction to the car, do any of us scrimp on oil etc?
I spent about the same as the STi wheel nuts on my oil and filter, so I'd personally think of it being a false economy to buy cheap.
Plus they look too good to pass on and they'll go well with my forthcoming refurbished PFF7's as well.
I like your new RS roof spoiler as well, looks good on the Clio.

I'd never scrimp on oil.
I just can't see the justification in £120+ for wheel bolts.
Its stud and nut anyway, They transfer heat much better than just a normal wheel bolt.
Unless your doing track sessions, reaching high temps passing through them, the roads not going to cause any issues to the nuts working loose, your not stressing them for long periods of time.
If you've got the money then obviously it's a no brainer for 'extra' safety.
But I would have spent £120 else where IMO.
Good progress so far though Ty

I've tried looking and searching for the plain non STi version and with carriage and duty from the USA they'll end up costing a lot more.
Try the Kei Racing wheel nuts on the Revolution website, very similar but only around £35 from memory.

You will get heat transfer from the hubs with the brakes also adding to the equation as well, I'd never use aluminium wheel nuts again as they do have a tendency to be more susceptible to the threads pulling if you're a little heavy handed with the wheel wrench.
The best thing about the McGard nuts is that they have a warranty against the coated finish failing for 3 years and they'll happily replace without question.
