Hi folks,

Just having a clear out after selling my Blob and I found these in the loft. I bought them one evening from eBay only to find that they didn't fit my 2004 WRX. So they have never been fitted. There are three parts included: the drink holder, the heater vents and the heater control surrounds. These are literally no use to me at all so make me an offer if you are interested

Collection welcome, otherwise I will price postage.

Cheers,

Paul.

They will actually fit mine but I already have a spare centre console because I removed the original one, Got a replacement and hacked it up so I could fit my defi controller, So if I bought this I would have to undo all the hardwork I've already done and I'd have nowhere to put my controller if I swapped for this one

It's a manual slider for the air recirculation(I think, lol),

Dave yours is different too, Your middle dial is offset from the other two...A bit lower down

Dave, that wouldn't fit mine now or Steve's car as his has the earlier auto AC setup.

Not too long to go now either, the car will be down in Enginetuner on Friday - then I will start getting nervous.

I remember when I saw my S202 on the rollers at Ajec Racing - I was confident that it would be fine but I couldn't help but remember reading about all the engines that have expired when on a rolling road.

I am very confident in what Ryan has done for me and what Martyn will achieve when he maps the car, they both know their potatoes very well and I'm patiently and expectantly beginning the countdown to the final result.

That was a good day, it was nerve wracking watching someone else rag your car for you.

Not too long indeed Craig, it will be on it's way by this time tomorrow.

I'm getting more nervous but I will be glad to see her back on the road as well.

Yes I and the car will definitely be at Japfest, there are a few more little things left to do but they can wait until a little later on...

Coming from one person who has probably spent more time with his cars on rolling roads, second only to either people that own RR's or map cars on them for a living...... I doubt you'll have anything to worry about.

Good luck and hope you end up with what you want.

I am sure it will be Glenn, but I think I'll prefer knowing the final result rather than the RR work involved in getting it there.

I think I would go for another S202 if I came across one at the right time, they are great cars and I believe very underestimated by those not in the 'know'.

It was Lee, as I saw it drive away I thought 'What the hell have I done?', but it was too late by then and the only way was forward.

Thanks Shaun, I am 110% sure that Martyn will do an exceptional job of mapping the car.

Having been under diesel power since October I know that I will have the biggest smile on the planet on the drive home.

The new roof spoiler as just fitted today, I love the look and it looks good with the boot lip spoiler.

The engine bay finished with the AC refitted and breather hoses re-routed and the carbon fibre belt cover fitted.

It's an SC50 twin scroll with a custom inlet, from what I remember it has the 58mm inlet and was a special order - I know it took ages to arrive.

It will displace so much air and create so much air pressure around itself that it will have it's own weather patterns, get it right.

I'm hoping for good things Steve, I know it won't have the same virtually instant spool as the lower bhp twin scrolls units but that should be made up for by a big thump of power when it comes on boost and still (hopefully) spool better than a single scroll unit.

Like a great man once said "If you've got lag then you're in the wrong gear".

I'd heard that as well Tubby, an Impreza with a two bar?

Surely that must be against the law or something, punishable with a damn good hoofing.

So the end of the road is upon us,it's been a long one lol but worth it!
All the new mods and my TLC have come together to form what I think is a great spec'd and great looking car.
There is a few little jobs which will be undertaken in a few weeks time after Ty has had a bit of fun with the car.
Today I got the roof spoiler fitted along with buttoning up the engine bay ie fitting AUX belts and CF cover, fitting the cooling panel and then filling the radiator with coolant.
Then I routed the wires over to the passenger footwell and gave the car a clean down inside and out ready for collection tomorrow morning at 9am.
Have to say I'm a little apprehensive due to not being able to run the car with Martyn having the ECU after upgrade being able to check for leaks and give the clutch a test etc but Martyn is fully aware of the situation and will be giving the car a good check over upon first fire up.
I am very much looking forward to the results!

Thanks Ryan, the car looks better every time I see it.

I have no doubt of the quality of the hard work you have put into it, and at least now you can set about making your car as good as mine.

I'm genuinely like a child waiting for Santa Claus to arrive on Christmas day, which for me will be the 3rd of May.
