I think it's fair to so that things haven't gone to plan today.
It's like to thank Alan and Martyn Jeffery for all their hard work and efforts today to resolve the issues found plus the loan of a courtesy car to get me home.
What's happened is just one of those problems encountered with performance cars, I don't want a SN finger pointing exercise or witch hunt.
I'd like to thank the Enginetuner staff for their hospitality shown today, to be continued...

Sorry to hear you've had problems Ty,
A few of us have been there, bought the t-shirt and waved goodbye too alot of our hard earned cash.
I hate to say it but I assume from your comment that another engine rebuild may be on the cards.

Gutted for you Ty, chin up mate she'll be back soon enough I'm sure, try and hold in there with your patience (of a saint) and she'll be back in no time.
Speak to you later dude, onwards and upwards ay.

Not good news sorry to hear.
Is it something that can be resolved quickly, or is it bad? As in engine out job?
Gutted for you, it's been such a good progress thread so far Ty.

The problem encountered is not terminal in terms of a blown engine or anything like that, it was a problem found when mapping.
I'm pretty sure it's not going to require any kind of major work, more a case I believe of pinpointing the issue and it's cause.
I'm now off to bed as I've had a long day, as I've been up since 4.00am this morning.

Ty its the worst feeling!! Your looking forward to much planning and dreaming to finally get the date to pick her up and then basically **** happens and it delay things. Went through it when the Type R had the 2.5 fitted (new conversion back in the day!)
Had a few teething problems with one for and the other and it was tough and had to be patient which is not an attribute of mine!
Chin up mate it will all be worth while it will just be that little bit longer. Better to get it back perfect than sending it back a later date to get it finished.
Fingers crossed for you mate.

I have nothing but praise for the staff at Enginetuner, Alan and Martyn couldn't have done more to try and get the problem sorted.
I was really impressed by their customer focus and how they went out of their way for me.

It's lucky that you read this thread then, although I dare say as Emma has the ticket she would have reminded you in plenty of time.

If it's ready then I will definitely be there, if not then either I turn up with another member or I take a Mini Cooper D which wouldn't look right in a Jap car show.
