I remember the drive back from ET when mine was fully mapped... it was slightly damp and accelerating in third caused a wee twitch sideways
I did get pulled by the boys in blue just after the tolls for launching a bit quick

Flat floor shifting as well Geraint, I only hope this proposed Circuit Of Wales will have a dragstrip it would make a fortune over here.
I know what you mean Si, it's a matter of finding the sweet spot between power and driveability.
From the initial RR plot I have seen which was on the first map before the ECU went off for the CAN to be repaired it pulled really well from low down all the way past 7000rpm within the confines of the engine.
I only hope the A38 will be fairly clear on Saturday for some brief blats of the throttle pedal.

If you want a quiet road on the way back head over the old Severn bridge onto the M48 this is a fantastic bit of road fig doing 70

It is fully forged, but let's just say it's not performing to it's component's full potential.
It's proven to be particularly noisy when pushed to the capabilities of the SC50, so Martyn has mapped it to be safe which will prolong the engines lifespan.
I do know the result of the pump fuel map RR run, but I'll wait to post it until I've got the pump fuel and methanol results plus of course the relevant plots for interrogation by those with more knowledge than myself.

My plan (if I am not too cream crackered that is) is to come over the old Severn Bridge, into Chepstow across via Devauden to Abergavenny and then on to Brecon. That should make for a nice little test of the car.
And then on home either via the upper Swansea Valley or down through Llandovery.
You can always guarantee a homocyclist will try and prove his prowess at trying to become an organ donor somewhere on the A40 somewhere between Sennybridge and Llandeilo.

Oh and to re-gas the now re-instated AC system, vital for those hot summer days.

Little bit of an issue today but nothing that ET can't sort out - the gasket between the up pipe and the headers has started blowing, it'll be sorted this afternoon and that means that mapping can continue later on today.

This is a quick screen shot of the result of the meth map RR graph, once I have the printed version I will post that up as it'll give better detail.
I am not sure if the above link to a video of the car on the rollers will work or not.

Thiink also you have to wear an ET red leather gimp mask for the first 1000 miles aswell, which shouldn't be a problem for Ty....

If possible, i would want it abit lower down like between 5 & 6k to make it a more enjoyable while on the mountain roads.
My kitcar map is relatively the same where the most power is about 6.5k rpm and starts to drop about 7200 but this is good for trackdays which the car is mostly used for as your always at the high rev range but when i drive on normal roads, its hard to reach that range on a twisty road and enjoy it an would prefer more mid range.

Ty's got the advantage of having 8K to play with though,I've spoke with Martyn after the test drive on road and he said it go's like **** lol
Plus you need to remember that on the road the boost power is earlier as well.
Would like to take the chance to say well done Martyn and engine tuner.
