Thanks Kev, she's exactly how I'd imagined she'd turn out and a little more.

Cheers Tubbs, the drive is fantastic but the drive home was heavy in traffic with the M5 and M4 in places coming to a complete stop.

I have to admit she felt rather rapid today on my first drive of it and Ty knew I had 'tried it'properly by checking on the toucan to find 100% throttle position used

She now resides in the workshop again though as the N/S/F driveshaft is leaking oil quite badly and it needs sorting before any serious miles get put on it.

Thanks for today Ryan, like you say it needs sorting before something major would go wrong and cheers for taking a look when you were working on your own project.

She's a bit of a beast and pretty rapid, she's still pulling hard where most cars would run out of puff.

Fully agree she is a beast alright, felt great to drive it,Martn has done my work proud with an outstanding map not only on boost but light throttle/cruising manners are A1.

Oh don't forget I washed it for you as well

Yey

Glad its back and your happy bud time for some fun

I bet there is a massive difference to the way it felt before when it comes on song now, is it massively different in terms of spool Ty? I think its fair to say if that 2.1 goes ahead your going to have a rampant car there, not that it isn't already that its

Time to pull my finger out my **** and get mine back

Thanks Lee, although with work being 15 mins away I think the next time you'll see it is on the run on the 16th of June if you can make it.

Above is the RR plot for the V Power/Methanol map which produces 502.3bhp as you can see, the other plot which you can see is for an earlier map on V Power only map but not the finished map on V Power which produced 460bhp.

It was a very good guess in fairness, and I have sent you something.

Thanks Geraint, she really doesn't come alive until around 3500-3800rpm when on the methanol map but then she pulls like a train nearly until the red line. It takes a different driving style to get the best out of the car, but it's definitely pays dividends.

I can't get used to the flat floor shifting though, a very odd sensation keeping your foot planted on the throttle pedal whilst changing gear but it works very well - no loss of boost at all and it then picks up where it left off - trying to head butt the horizon.

I bet it's a real thrill to go for a blast in, it hurt my face at the last spec you had it.
Can't imagine another 100hp throwing you back in the seat.

Get some mileage on it now, and plenty of pictures for us.

Plenty of nice fresh mornings to be up the hills enjoying.

It is a totally different car to drive now, less low end power but it pulls like a bitch from 3800rpm all the way to just short of 8000rpm.

As for going up to the hills for some enjoyment, whatever floats your boat.

Might have to rendezvous in my van, still awaiting my suspension arrival ATM! Homebase car park is an olde favourite ******* hotspot of ty's , although in daylight hours they might not be offering the same 'services' that Ty has become accustomed to!!
