I understand what you're saying but given my recent 'issues' I wasn't going to be happy to not have any kind of gauge to show oil or coolant temps.

I know that with the Genome gauges I can easily sell them on when the Toucan can work with the standard factory ECU.

£400 for gauges! Jesus, and that's considered a bargain? Holly Molly, this shows I'm not ready for boost! Lol.

That's a 330mm disc and pad upgrade for my car, with bell housings and lines.

These the same you had first off Ty?

They are similar Geraint, I had Defi BF gauges before - Defi manufacture the Genome gauges for Subaru. Obviously Subaru load the price and they're a JDM only option or dealer accessory.

You wouldn't want to see the new price then, the Defi standard BF gauges with a controller would be around £750 and the Genome will be more expensive again probably closer to £950.

I know but these are the Genome gauges which all have green illumination with red dials/needles.

I'm not bothered if they're not red / amber illumination if I'm honest, they'll still look the mutts nuts.

I love the Defis in my R they are without question the mutts nuts

The Subaru OEM water temp gauge is pants IMO and gives you no real idea of the true water temp, luckily the Psi data monitor comes with one as standard

Thanks Dave, I am on the lookout but that will have to wait until next payday now.

I might well be having a single din Psi monitor so that will cover the pants Subaru coolant temp gauge, it seems to hover around the 1/3 marker and then shoot up only when the temps go through the roof.

Actually I was thinking of giving to you for gratis but then I thought that you'd never want them for nothing, so I decided to keep them just to save you the embarassment of having to turn them down.

Really good deal Ty, don't see them come up very often now and due to the rarety of them these days you could prob see as an investment as that price with the bonus of the information it gives you.

I blame you totally for changing my mind, I should have worn ear defenders, just nodded occasionally and gone 'hmmm' from time to time.

Far from it Geraint, it still needs a strip down and engine rebuild.

I wish it was a minor repair rather than what's coming.

I'm not sure Steve, if you are interested and I don't use them I'll give you first option at what they cost me plus import duty I'm going to have to pay on them.
