As it happened I ended up selling the Defi Genome gauges, they sold in next to no time and I was able to do a deal with the buyer and took his 52mm Defi Genome boost gauge in 'part exchange'.
So I am going to get a Genome boost gauge after all, but now I had to think where to mount it plus also to relocate my Innovate LC1 wideband gauge as well?
Having seen the ATI E-Pod I did consider that but as it blocks out so much of the speedometer and fuel level/coolant temp gauges I really wasn't that fussed about it.
After some extensive online work today I found what I had been looking for, although it's designed for LHD cars it will fit RHD cars perfectly well with only a very minor gap which can't even be seen.
In fact with some 'fettling' I am sure that it will be a 100% fit, it looks totally OE and even the texture and colour of the pod is a perfect match for the factory dash binnacle.
It's called an SMY dual gauge pod, it was a lot more expensive than the ATI E-Pod but I think the extra £ was worth it as it looks like it was always there from the factory.

Hopefully by the end of the weekend the engine should be removed and then some answers can be found to some burning questions that I have.
I have already taken some great technical advice from component manufacturers who are as keen as I am to identify the root cause of the failure, some components will be sent off for a full analysis by the manufacturers for their expert analysis and report.
The engine will then be going to be rebuilt after being stripped back to a bare block and the crankcase and cylinder heads to be checked for warping, plus any necessary machining carried out if required.
I am hoping that all will be required is a re-honing of the cylinders but I am prepared for far worse news than that given past history.
Once I have a clear picture of the why, what and where then at least I can move forward and start the ball rolling.

Thanks Gaz, this has been quite painful as I have had the engine rebuilt once with forged internals, but hopefully second time will be more successful than the first.

It will have a full rotated setup on there next you watch
So glad you kept it as it is Ty, If you hear of an ecu like yours for sale give me a shout bud, I've decided I'm treating myself to one should I find one at a decent price

I will keep an eye out for you Craig no problem, most of the features though could be available in an OS map so that might be worth considering.

I'll cancel the engine rebuild straight away, thanks Rob.
If only Rob you're right there, at least though I'll have some peace of mind for the future.

Nearly forgot to post this up, I have a set of 18" Rota Mesh wheels on the way and that is why I am selling the PFF7's.
I have always liked these wheels, at the moment I have some colours in mind and these are gold, bronze and gunmetal/anthracite. I am really not too sure on which colour to go with but I am edging towards bronze with high gloss finish.
Any other suggestions on the colour?
Not the right colour Blobeye I know but something to start the ball rolling, if you know of any nice pics with this or similar wheels then please post them up.

Are you Henry Ford - you can have any colour as long as it's black?
Thanks, although I am not looking forward to the running in process - I think I will try and do it over a long weekend but the final drive being down to Enginetuner to map it.

The engine will be sorted out properly and we will then see the true potential of the car.
I'll drop you a text message, it would be good to catch up in person - I'm assuming you're still on the same mobile number?
